Her studio is a space where fiber transforms into form, texture, and story. Every piece is a unique expression of color, movement, and care, reflecting Barbara’s love for the craft and her dedication to honoring traditional techniques with a modern eye.

Founded by local fiber artist Barbara Marigold, Marigold Weaving Studio is the culmination of a lifelong love for texture, color, and craftsmanship. Barbara’s journey began with custom knitting, moved into intricate embroidery, and truly came to life when she discovered the art of weaving. Today, she brings all of those skills together through designing and sewing garments that reflect both artistry and individuality.

Barbara incorporates her handwoven textiles into coats, jackets, and other fabulous one-of-a-kind pieces—blending function with beauty in every stitch. Each garment is created with care in her Santa Fe studio and often tailored to fit the individual wearer.

In addition to wearable art, Barbara also weaves rugs, shawls, and scarves, creating pieces that celebrate the full creative potential of the loom.
